ODTÜ Technology Transfer Office was established at ODTU Technopolis in 2007 to support ODTU academicians in terms of patent processes and create awareness on intellectual property rights within the university.
METU Technology Transfer Office (TTO) ensures the protection and commercialization of research results from the university through registration applications, conducts university-industry collaboration studies, manages project processes for European Union grant and support programs, and provides contractual support in intellectual property rights (IPR) matters.
MISSION
To transfer innovative research results to the market with an effective technology transfer strategy, to develop university-industry collaboration with high added-value projects, to conduct academic entrepreneurship studies actively, and to expand internationalization activities.
VISION
To create globally known, effective, enterprising, pioneering and sustainable technology transfer office with rich invention/design portfolio, successful commercialization activities and strong collaborations between university and industry.
